Fierce Under-14 Water Polo Championship Officially Kicks Off in Jeddah

Battling in the Pool

Saudi youth sports are getting highly competitive. The first round of the official under-14 water polo championship just kicked off at the Ministry of Sport swimming pool in Jeddah. Organized directly by the Saudi Swimming Federation, the three-day competition pits several ambitious local clubs against each other in brutal aquatic matchups. These young athletes are fighting hard to prove their stamina and tactical skills in the water.

Crucial Weekend Matchups

The intense competition ramps up massively on Friday with four critical matches on the schedule. Fans can watch Abha clash with Al-Safa, while Al-Hareeq takes on Al-Qadsiah. Later in the day, Jubbah will face Okaz, and local favorites Al-Ittihad will battle Jeddah. The entire championship wraps up with the final showdowns on Saturday. The federation is clearly investing heavy resources to build a formidable national water polo team from the ground up.
