Yemeni Houthis Claim Multiple Strikes on Saudi Oil and Aviation Facilities
Militia group alleges attacks on Ras Tanura and major international airports across the Kingdom
The Yemeni Houthi group claimed responsibility for a series of new attacks today. They announced launching six missile and drone strikes against Saudi Arabian targets. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea broadcasted this statement on al-Masirah television. He claimed the militia targeted vital oil facilities in the Eastern Province. The alleged targets included the Ras Tanura refinery and Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq. He also mentioned an attack on the Rabigh refinery along the Red Sea coast. Sarea further claimed the group targeted two major Saudi aviation hubs. They allegedly launched missiles at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. They also claimed a drone strike on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The spokesman stated another operation targeted a Saudi military command center in Najran. Sarea framed these aggressive actions as retaliation for recent Saudi airstrikes. He noted that recent coalition operations hit Houthi-held areas heavily. The Saudi-led coalition previously confirmed intercepting several ballistic missiles aimed at the Kingdom. The ongoing conflict continues to threaten regional energy supplies and civilian aviation routes. Saudi Arabia strictly maintains its right to defend its sovereign territory against terrorism. The international community closely monitors these aggressive cross-border threats.
