Defense forces neutralize multiple aerial threats targeting the capital and the Makkah region

The Saudi-led coalition successfully defended the Kingdom against multiple aerial attacks. Air defense systems intercepted two ballistic missiles fired toward Riyadh on Thursday. The Iran-backed Houthi militia launched these dangerous weapons at the Saudi capital. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki confirmed the successful destruction of these terrorist threats. Falling shrapnel from the interception caused a minor injury to one Saudi citizen. The debris also caused slight material damage to a house and a vehicle. Authorities quickly issued alerts confirming the danger had passed in Riyadh. They also cleared the Al-Kharj Governorate and Najran City of any immediate threats. The defense operations did not stop there. On Friday, the coalition intercepted another hostile drone over the Makkah region. They destroyed the drone before it could reach any populated areas. The Houthi militia continues targeting major cities and vital infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom remains on high alert to protect its citizens and holy sites. Saudi Civil Defense reminded residents to avoid filming missile interception sites. Sharing such sensitive information online can expose individuals to serious legal liability. The military vows to maintain strict security protocols against these ongoing regional threats.
