Theater and Performing Arts Commission Launches Massive Six-City Cultural Tour
Taking Art to the Streets
The Theater and Performing Arts Commission (TPAC) refuses to keep local culture locked inside boring auditoriums. They are launching a massive national tour from November 11 to December 19, 2026. The highly anticipated program officially kicks off in Riyadh, bringing immersive public performances directly to the streets. Visitors will experience a massive variety of theatrical shows, traditional roving arts, and interactive puppet shows up close. The government wants citizens to actually engage with the performing arts instead of just reading about them.
A Nationwide Cultural Campaign
This massive cultural tour will physically hit six major Saudi cities over six weeks. The Riyadh segment takes over the popular U Walk complex from November 11 to 14. The campaign then moves rapidly to the House of Culture in Dammam, Al-Noor Park in Buraidah, and the House of Culture in Hail. Taif will host the performances at Arruddaf Park, before the tour finally concludes at the Jeddah Promenade in mid-December. Venues will open daily from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to maximize massive public turnout during the cool winter evenings.
Empowering Local Creative Talent
This aggressive national tour represents much more than just free public entertainment. TPAC is actively working to develop the entire domestic theatrical sector and empower raw Saudi creative talent. These massive public showcases allow local artists to rapidly enhance their performance skills in front of live audiences. It embeds the theater deeply into daily Saudi society. The commission desperately wants the public to support the rapidly growing national entertainment economy.
