ICAIRE Urges Universities To Adopt AI Ethics Master’s Program

The International Center for AI Research and Ethics launched a significant educational initiative today. They collaborated with the Collaboratory for Uncertainty Management in the Age of AI. Together, they urged global universities to adopt a new Master’s degree program. This proposed academic program focuses specifically on the complex field of AI Ethics. The announcement occurred during the UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of AI.

The fourth edition of the UNESCO forum took place in Riyadh this September. ICAIRE developed the initiative in close partnership with CUMAAI and its expert members. CUMAAI brings together respected professors and researchers from several prestigious international universities. These include Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and IE University located in Madrid. The team developed the program in accordance with the UNESCO Recommendation on AI Ethics.
