Saudi Forces Intercept Three Houthi Drones as Airlines Cancel Flights

Saudi led coalition

Neutralizing Aerial Threats

The Saudi-led coalition successfully intercepted three hostile drones targeting the Kingdom today. The terrorist Houthi militia launched these cowardly aerial attacks against civilian infrastructure. Coalition spokesman Turki Al Maliki confirmed forces destroyed one drone over the western Makkah region. Military units quickly intercepted a second drone flying over the Eastern Province. They destroyed a third hostile drone heading directly toward the southern region. The Houthis falsely claimed successful strikes against a southwestern airport and airbase.

Regional Disruption Halts Flights

This escalating regional conflict severely disrupts commercial aviation schedules. Etihad Airways officially extended its ongoing flight suspensions to major Saudi cities. The airline canceled all flights between Abu Dhabi and Dammam until November 19. They also halted all passenger and cargo operations heading into Riyadh. Airlines refuse to risk passenger safety during these active military engagements. However, Etihad plans to cautiously resume selected services to Jeddah starting November 6. The Saudi military continues securing the national airspace aggressively.
