Saudi Authorities Ramp Up Hajj Season Preparations
ZATCA and Islamic Affairs launch comprehensive services to welcome arriving pilgrims.
Reviewing Customs Readiness
Saudi authorities are actively preparing for the upcoming Hajj season. ZATCA Governor Suhail Abanmi reviewed customs operations in Jeddah today. He visited the busy King Abdulaziz International Airport facilities. He checked the new security technologies designed to help arriving pilgrims.
Ensuring Smooth Airport Arrivals
Governor Abanmi stressed the need for excellent, seamless customs services. Officials want to facilitate pilgrim journeys from the moment they arrive. They aim to achieve total integration with all Hajj system entities. This high-level coordination significantly improves the overall quality of pilgrim services.
Welcoming Pilgrims in Madinah
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs continues to welcome international visitors. Teams received 442 Indian pilgrims at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport. Administrative staff guided these groups through the busy arrival halls today.
Providing Spiritual Guidance
Field workers distributed educational books and publications in multiple languages. These helpful materials clearly explain the religious rulings of Hajj. Staff also introduced the pilgrims to the ministry’s convenient electronic services. These dedicated efforts ensure a comfortable and highly spiritual journey for everyone.
