Oman Honors Over 350 Outstanding Students In Dhofar Governorate

The Directorate General of Education honored top students in Dhofar Governorate today. Officials celebrated these outstanding individuals at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex.

The Salalah venue hosted more than 350 successful male and female students. Education Undersecretary Dr. Intisar bint Abdullah Al-Ambusaidi sponsored the special ceremony.

The event recognized exceptional achievements in various 2025 educational activities.

Activities Build Student Personalities

Director General Dr. Maizon bint Bakhit Al-Shahri delivered an inspiring speech. She emphasized that student activities fundamentally build a student’s character.

These programs develop crucial skills and consolidate important personal values. Al-Shahri noted these activities also refine talents and strongly support innovation.

Specific Student Achievements

Several students received specific national recognition during the event. Abrar bint Mohammed Al-Yafai won first place across Oman. She dominated the International Letter Writing Competition.

Tartil bint Mohammed Al-Rawas secured second place in the story category. She competed in the national Poetry, Story and Novel Competition.

Turki bin Tariq Beit Rajab won a special jury award. He delivered the best heritage melody in the National Student Chanting Competition.

The Dhofar team also achieved third place in the innovator category.

Artistic Performances And Regional Competitions

Students from local educational schools performed several beautiful artistic segments. The Oriental Ensemble played musical pieces including "My Memories" and "Storyteller".

One student also delivered a solo song entitled "Land of Frankincense".

Organizers honored students who won various regional and international initiatives. Winners included participants from Bahrain's "Children’s Art" competition.

Officials also recognized dedicated activity supervisors and committee members. This grand recognition highlights the local directorate's commitment to education.

Officials constantly strive to foster a creative environment for all students.
