Desperate Fouls and Yellow Cards Define Ugly Scottish Defeat
A Physical Brawl
Scotland realized quickly they lacked the pure talent to beat Morocco. They resorted to hacking the African players down out of frustration. The referee blew his whistle constantly during this incredibly ugly 1-0 match. Issa Diop actually earned the first yellow card for Morocco early. However, the Scottish squad quickly escalated the physical violence. They committed cynical fouls to stop lightning-fast Moroccan counterattacks.
Losing Their Discipline
John McGinn and Kieran Tierney constantly dragged down opposing midfielders. Lewis Ferguson committed a highly aggressive foul in the second half. Andy Robertson finally earned a massive yellow card in the 65th minute. He violently expressed his complete frustration with the referee. The match completely lacked any fluid, beautiful football after the first goal.
A Bitter Climax
The physical tension reached a boiling point in deep stoppage time. Morocco easily wasted the clock by absorbing the pathetic Scottish pressure. Anthony Ralston lost his temper entirely in the 97th minute. The referee immediately flashed a yellow card for his careless foul. Scotland leaves the stadium bruised, angry, and completely defeated. They battered the Moroccan players but failed to score a single goal.
