Moroccan Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah via Makkah Route

Makkah Route

The Ministry of Interior streamlines travel procedures to enhance the Hajj experience.

Welcoming the First Flight

The first flight carrying Moroccan pilgrims arrived in Madinah today. Beneficiaries of the Makkah Route Initiative traveled from Rabat-Salé Airport. They landed safely at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport. This initiative provides high-quality services to visiting pilgrims.

Streamlining Travel Procedures

Officials complete all necessary travel procedures in the pilgrims' home countries. Workers collect biometric data and issue electronic Hajj visas abroad. They also verify health requirements before departure. Staff members code and sort all baggage carefully.

Direct Transfers and Delivery

Dedicated buses transfer pilgrims directly to their accommodations. Partner agencies deliver the baggage straight to the hotels. This seamless process prevents delays and reduces travel fatigue. The Ministry of Interior launched this helpful initiative in 2017. The program proudly served over 1.2 million pilgrims so far.
