Al-Sudairy Cultural Centre Drives Tourism and Community Engagement in Al-Jouf

Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Centre

A Historic Cultural Hub

The Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Centre continues to transform the Al-Jouf Region completely. This historic facility stands as the very first cultural center in the entire region. It boasts a rich local history spanning more than six productive decades. The center actively contributes to local tourism and enriches the regional cultural landscape. Administrators achieve this success through highly diverse artistic and community programs. The massive complex proudly houses the famous Dar Al-Uloom Library inside its walls. This facility operates as the first public library of its kind in Al-Jouf.

Decades of Community Service

Founders officially established this educational sanctuary back in the year 1383 AH. They built it to support the cultural renaissance of the local community. The library successfully makes valuable knowledge completely accessible to all community members. Khaled Al-Juraid currently serves as the Assistant General Manager of the busy center. He proudly shared impressive statistics regarding recent community engagement efforts. The center successfully implemented 158 unique programs over the past year. Staff members also organized exactly 605 separate engaging activities for the public.

Thousands of Beneficiaries

These events totaled more than 3,000 hours of active community programming. Over 61,000 individuals across various age groups benefited from these free public services. The diverse programs spanned many different important cultural and literary fields. Organizers hosted family-focused events, social gatherings, and deeply religious lectures. They also offered helpful courses on self-development, personal health, and the environment. Visitors enjoyed recreational activities and traditional craft workshops throughout the year.

The Power of Volunteers

The center relies heavily on dedicated local volunteers to run these programs. They successfully attracted more than 715 male and female volunteers recently. These selfless individuals provided help through 120 different local volunteer opportunities. They contributed an incredible 11,000 hours of unpaid community service to the center. The facility gladly offers its impressive library and theater for outside artistic events. Administrators constantly build strong partnerships with various private and public sectors. The management team continuously seeks feedback from the community to improve services. They plan to introduce even more modern educational resources next year.
