Oman Air Resumes Flights to Dubai, Bahrain, and Khasab
The national carrier restores vital GCC travel links as regional aviation rebounds.
Reconnecting Major Regional Hubs
Oman Air resumes its flights to three major GCC cities today. The airline temporarily paused these routes during the recent regional conflict. Travelers can now book direct flights from Muscat to Dubai. The airline also restarted its important connections to Manama and Khasab. These returning flights successfully restore vital travel links across the region.
Monitoring Ongoing Suspensions
However, the airline still delays some routes until April 30. Passengers cannot fly to Doha, Kuwait City, or Baghdad just yet. Meanwhile, regional aviation shows a very strong and gradual rebound. Many Gulf carriers successfully restored over half their pre-conflict flight capacity. Emirates approaches a massive 70 percent capacity on its key routes. Omani low-cost airline SalamAir will restart Sharjah services on April 20.
Expanding the Future Network
Oman Air also plans an exciting network expansion for 2026. The carrier will launch a new Dubai to Salalah route. These flights will run three times weekly starting July 3. This new schedule targets high tourist demand during the khareef season. The airline will also introduce exciting new international long-haul destinations. Direct flights to Tashkent will depart twice weekly from June 1. Finally, the airline will add four weekly Singapore flights on July 2.
