His Excellency President Doma Gideon Poku of Botswana visited Oman today. He toured the Sohar Port and Free Zone. This trip forms part of his official working visit to the Sultanate.

The port offers a vital location, modern infrastructure, and advanced logistics services. The delegation learned about the site's high operational efficiency. These competitive advantages make Sohar a highly reliable industrial platform.
Touring Green Energy Projects
The President also toured several high-quality investment projects. He visited the United Solar project first. This facility manufactures polysilicon for various industries. Next, he explored the Orion Solar project. This specific plant produces advanced solar cells and panels.
Official Delegation Members
Several high-ranking Omani officials accompanied the guest today. His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi joined the tour. He chairs the Oman Investment Authority. His Excellency Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi also attended. He serves as the Governor of North Al Batinah.
