Crown Prince inks strategic deal with French minister
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, met with French Minister of Armed Forces Florence Parly in Jeddah Sunday evening.
Following the meeting, the Crown Prince and the French minister signed an agreement between the two countries to protect classified and protected information.
The two leaders reviewed the areas of bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of defense as well as in the opportunities for the development of this sector. They also discussed the latest regional developments and the efforts being exerted to tackle them, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The meeting and the signing ceremony were attended by senior officials from both the countries. They included Assistant Minister of Defense Muhammad Al-Ayish, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Hisham Al-Sheikh, director general of the Crown Prince’s Office, Talal Al-Otaibi, military advisor to the minister of defense, Brig. Gen. Waleed Al-Saif, Saudi military attaché to France and Switzerland, and Francois Gouyette, French ambassador to the Kingdom.
