Compensatory visas for trades lacking qualified Saudis — MLSD
The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has propelled an initiative to issue compensatory visas to offset the deficiency of Saudi workforce in certain uncommon specializations or professions where it is hard to execute Saudization because of the lack of qualified Saudis.
Private firms, which are in the platinum and high green spaces, can exploit this initiative, as per the ministry sources.
The ministry had distinguished before eight trades the private sector where there is a lack of adequate number of qualified Saudis to take up jobs. These sectors incorporate engineering, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, IT, medical technology, accounting and financing.
The ministry’s initiative goes for guaranteeing the private sector firms in the platinum and high green domains to keep up their steady and effective performance results. Under the initiative, if the firm is qualified for a compensatory visa instead of one who left the firm on definite leave visa, it will have the capacity to acquire it directly through availing the ministry’s electronic services.
