Bangladeshi hanged for Saudi diplomat’s murder

A Bangladeshi man was hanged in a correctional facility outside Dhaka over the homicide of a Saudi negotiator in 2012, an authority said Monday. 

Khalaf Al Ali, 45, who worked in the consular segment of the Saudi Arabian government office, was shot in the capital's political zone before his leased loft. He later kicked the bucket in emergency clinic. 

Police around then said 30-year-old Saiful Islam, who was held tight Sunday, drove the posse who endeavored to loot the negotiator. 

 

"He was executed as per a court request," jail official Shahjahan Ahmed told AFP. 

The Supreme Court in August maintained Islam's capital punishment. He was initially condemned to death in 2013 by a preliminary court which portrayed him as the primary culprit of the executing. 

In excess of two million Bangladeshis are working in Saudi Arabia, which is a key partner of the South Asian nation and a noteworthy benefactor.
