7 new fully digitized labor courts in 7 cities

The Ministry of Justice will open seven fully digitized labor courts in seven cities early next year, according to a press statement issued by the ministry on Tuesday.

Minister of Justice Waleed Al-Samaani said these fully digitized and paperless courts will speed up the legal process and save clients time.

Addressing judges on training in the legal training center, he said the ministry provides judges with personal and professional skills to work in labor courts.

“These courts will be role models for other courts to follow,” Samaani said.

The fully digitized labor courts will be opened in Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Abha, Dammam, Buraidah and Madinah.

These courts will be in addition to 27 labor support offices in other cities and nine specialized labor offices inside appeal courts across the Kingdom.

A few days ago the Ministry of Justice expanded its mobile notary services to eight other cities across the Kingdom after the first phase of its launch in Riyadh proved successful.

The mobile notary service is now available in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Dhahran, Buraidah, and Onaizah.

The service is free of charge to clients unable to visit notary offices.

More than 13,500 notarizations have been performed since the launch of the mobile service and beneficiaries included 65 hospitals and nursing homes.
