Umluj honey production

Coastal plains in Tabuk provide premium wild honey and boost ecological balance.

Moving Hives to the Coast

Beekeepers in Umluj Governorate recently relocated their active hives. They moved their operations to the northern coastal plains in Tabuk. These farmers want to capitalize on the beautiful acacia flowering season. This season offers a crucial window for producing premium wild honey.

Supporting the Local Ecology

Amjad Thallab directs the Tabuk branch of the Ministry of Environment. He stated these climate-resilient trees balance the local ecology perfectly. The trees provide natural wildlife habitats and stabilize the soil. They also actively combat dangerous desertification in the region.
