Tarshid Concludes Participation In Historic 25th WPC Energy Congress In Riyadh
Championing Energy Efficiency On The Global Stage
The National Energy Services Company, known as Tarshid, concluded its active participation and sponsorship at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh. Hosted by Saudi Arabia for the first time in the congress's 93-year history, the summit gathered global energy executives and policymakers. Delegates spent the week examining energy security, sustainability, and technological innovation in the transition toward cleaner, more reliable power systems. During the congress, Tarshid executives joined specialized panel discussions held as part of the 17th Clean Energy Ministerial in the capital. Speakers highlighted energy efficiency as one of the fastest, most cost-effective enablers of global sustainability and long-term energy security.
Showcasing Large-Scale Retrofitting Across The Kingdom
Tarshid representatives shared the Kingdom's extensive practical experience in designing and executing large-scale energy efficiency projects across public infrastructure. Owned by the Public Investment Fund, the company retrofits government buildings, hospitals, schools, mosques, and street lighting networks with smart energy-saving technologies. These retrofitting programs substantially reduce electricity consumption and carbon emissions while lowering operational utility costs for the state. By sharing its successful business model with international delegates, Tarshid demonstrated how Saudi Arabia pairs energy supply leadership with disciplined domestic conservation. Expanding national energy efficiency directly supports the Saudi Green Initiative and the sustainability targets of Vision 2030.
