Testing Quinoa in Arid Conditions

Meanwhile, the Estidamah Center conducted an exciting new research trial. Researchers evaluated quinoa crop performance under the

Kingdom’s arid environmental conditions. They conducted this trial at an experimental station in Al-Kharj Governorate. Quinoa varieties showed notable adaptability to high temperatures and limited water. The Golden Afternoon variety recorded an impressive yield of 4.3 tons per hectare.
