Riyadh Air Boeing order

Securing the Global Fleet

Saudi Arabia refuses to slow its massive aviation expansion plans. Riyadh Air just executed a massive aircraft purchase in Farnborough today. The new national carrier officially ordered 28 additional Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets. They also converted 20 existing orders into the much larger 787-10 variant aggressively.

Executing the Growth Strategy

This massive deal pushes Riyadh Air’s firm order count to an incredible 67 Dreamliners. CEO Tony Douglas stated this marks another crucial milestone for the airline. They remain completely committed to connecting Riyadh to 100 international destinations by 2030. The larger 787-10 variant boosts passenger capacity by 50 seats while drastically reducing fuel consumption.

Fueling Vision 2030 Economics

Riyadh Air acts as a powerful catalyst for the massive Saudi economic diversification strategy. The PIF-owned company expects to generate over 200,000 direct and indirect jobs quickly. They plan to pump a staggering $20 billion into the non-oil national GDP by 2030. The Kingdom demands a world-class aviation sector to support its booming tourism and logistics goals.
