Ministry official Eng. Salman Al-Suwaina praised the impressive local growth today.
- Vineyards currently cover more than 1,021 hectares of fertile land.
- Local farmers actively manage nearly 1.3 million fruit-bearing grapevines.
- The region cultivates 23 different local and imported grape varieties.

The government aggressively supports expanding related local food processing industries. They want to maximize profits and increase market competitiveness for local farmers.
