PFL MENA 11 Brings Thrilling MMA Semifinals To Boulevard City
A Highly Anticipated Trilogy Bout
Riyadh continues to cement its status as a global combat sports hub. The Professional Fighters League brings PFL MENA 11 to the capital. Saudi Arabia’s Mostafa Nada will fight Egypt’s Osama Elsaidy again. They will meet for the third time on October 2. The event takes place at the Global Theatre in Boulevard City. Ten years have passed since their last intense meeting inside the cage. The event features six semifinal bouts across three different weight divisions. Fighters will compete in the welterweight, featherweight, and lightweight categories.
Returning To The Cage
Nada and Elsaidy each claimed a victory in their previous two bouts. Nada won their very first encounter by a judges' decision. Elsaidy answered back with a brutal technical knockout in the second fight. Their third encounter comes with immense pride on the line. This fight marks Nada’s highly anticipated return to active competition. He spent months recovering from a severe broken arm injury. The event features a showcase bout between Hassan Shaaban and Assem Ghanem. It also includes an amateur fight featuring Saudi Arabia’s Fatima Al Ammari.
A Dream Realized For Al Ammari
Al Ammari will face Algeria’s Aya Lounes in the amateur division. This marks her first senior mixed martial arts appearance. She dreamed of competing in PFL MENA since she was 16.
