Najran Plants Over 7,000 Trees Under Greening Project

As part of its ongoing afforestation project, the Najran Region Municipality has planted 7,311 trees in 24 public parks and on roadways.

The second phase of the initiative, which the municipality said plans to plant 11,000 trees in total, was finished in four stages. The broader campaign is set to run until 30 November 2026.

The municipality says the effort is meant to develop green areas, beautify urban environments and improve quality of life for inhabitants.

This project is part of the continuous efforts to increase vegetation cover and improve the local environment in Najran.
