Makkah Factories Ramp Up Production for Hajj Season

Reviewing Industrial Operations

The Minister of Industry assessed local manufacturing facilities in Makkah yesterday. Bandar Alkhorayef visited the First and Second Industrial Cities. He reviewed their operational readiness for the upcoming 1447 AH Hajj season.

Producing Vital Supplies

The minister inspected a massive purified water bottling plant first. This factory produces over 35 million water bottles annually. Next, he toured a facility producing 20 million ready-made meals. Makkah currently hosts 640 diverse food factories. These facilities manufacture vital products to meet the daily needs of pilgrims. They also serve various regional and international markets.
