Venture Capital Funds Drive Major Expansions Across The Kingdom

The LEAP 2026 technology conference announced a massive wave of new financial deals. The event secured $857 million in new technology investments during its third day. These funds will drive major expansions across cloud computing and data center manufacturing. They also represent a significant boost in regional venture capital funding. Venture capital investments heavily dominated the third day's announcements in Riyadh. Total VC funding reached nearly $293 million across 11 distinct financial deals. This included nine specific investment rounds totaling $126.15 million for regional startups. Investors also launched new funds and expanded existing ones with a combined value of $166.7 million.

Fueling Local Startups And Advanced Manufacturing

The funding rounds benefited companies operating across various highly technical sectors. Startups specializing in AI, fintech, travel, gaming, and digital automotive services secured heavy backing. Participating companies included COFE Tech, FlyAkeed, Nayla Finance, RABEH, Hazen.ai, and Abwab.ai. International partnerships also took center stage during the conference. Ula Capital launched a $100 million fund in partnership with Korea’s FuturePlay. This fund will connect deep-tech investment opportunities between the Kingdom and the Republic of Korea. Additionally, Impact46 and Hala expanded their SME funding fund from $26.7 million to $66.7 million. The Kingdom also focused on localizing advanced technology industries during the event. Alfanar announced a massive $150 million investment to manufacture data center components locally. This specific investment will strengthen national infrastructure and increase local technical content.
