Restoring Access To Education

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a major cooperation agreement. They partnered with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage via videoconference. They will establish and operate the Riyadh School Al-Namudhajiyah in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza. KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz signed the document. Chairman of the Saudi Center for Culture Dr. Essam Abu Khalil also signed. The project aims to contribute to resuming basic education for affected children. The war in the Gaza Strip severely disrupted the local education system. They will establish a fully equipped school for 720 male and female students.

Building Sustainable Infrastructure

The school will serve students from the first through the sixth grade. It will operate in two daily shifts to accommodate the prevailing local conditions. The initiative includes equipping the school and developing its operational technical infrastructure. It provides new classrooms, modern furniture, and essential educational materials for students. Contractors will carry out necessary renovations and complete essential facilities on site. They will install water and sanitation systems and reliable solar energy panels. The school will also feature internet access, proper ventilation, and security surveillance cameras. The agreement is part of KSrelief's broader efforts to support education globally.
