Returning to the Kingdom

Indian academic Kamaluddin Al-Hamidi performed Hajj this year as a special guest of King Salman. He happily recalled his university days in Saudi Arabia today. He studied at the Islamic University of Madinah five decades ago. Al-Hamidi earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees there.

Building a Legacy in India

He credits the Kingdom for shaping his entire scholarly character. He returned to India and co-founded a prominent university. He also expanded Quranic schools and built local mosques. His Saudi education helped him serve his local community effectively.

Praising Exceptional Hospitality

Al-Hamidi praised the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for its exceptional hospitality. He highlighted the amazing organization of the hosting program. He also noted Saudi Arabia's enduring role in supporting global Muslims. The Kingdom continually provides outstanding services to the Two Holy Mosques.
