6. Tabab Historical Palaces

These palaces sit about 25 kilometers northwest of central Abha. They date back to 1215 AH, roughly the early 1800s.

Builders once used stone and clay in traditional regional style. The site once served as the Asir Emirate's political center. Restoration work has reopened it fully to visitors.
